C King Media just finished editing the hit musical The Last 5 Years at Shenandoah Conservatory. Book, Music, and Lyrics by Jason Robert Brown

The Last Five Years is an emotionally powerful and intimate tale of two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. The show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backward while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show. This production will feature two different casts.

This was a massive project to work on.

First it is a full-length 2-hour musical being filmed and second, there are 2 different casts, which meant that we had to film the same show for multiple days as well as edit two shows with just different casts.

This was such an exciting project to work on and more importantly, we get to play a part in bringing live theatre back! I HIGHLY encourage you to stream the show this weekend.
