Godspell- James Madison University

Screen+Shot+2021-05-03+at+12.36.07+PM.jpg

Thanks for having us back James Madison University! We just finished wrapping the filming of Godspell the musical at James Madison University!

With a message of community and kindness at the forefront, a group of players reimagines parables based on the Gospel of St. Matthew with comedic prowess and musical flair. This upbeat musical uncovers the love and loyalty found in its origin story, yet also reflects the ever-changing global pandemic, cultural revolution, and unstable economy of our current world. Features students from JMU's School of Theatre and Dance and School of Music. SHOW PLAYBILL

Godspell was a different type of production because it was outdoors. This meant having to combat the elements but we luckily had a bright sunny day. If you are familiar with the 1973 Film Version of Godspell, you will absolutely love this one!

This production was directed by Broadway’s Jacob Brent

The Pandemic Project- James Madison University

Screen+Shot+2021-05-03+at+12.12.48+PM.jpg

2021 is rolling in nicely with serval theatre/performance type projects. I am so glad to be a part of these projects.

One of my most recent shoots was at James Madison University and their theatre programs “Pandemic Project”

Fully devised by the cast and creative team, Pandemic Project knits together stories of the pandemic and ongoing fight for racial justice. Including the creators’ personal experiences, moments witnessed over the past year and stories from the news, Pandemic Project immortalizes this moment in time and the landmark events that shaped the past year.

This project was unlike anything I have ever seen. It was full of raw emotion and overall honesty. This is one project I would not miss. More information about the stream can be found HERE.

Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar- First Live Stream of 2021!

Happy New Year! We’re kicking off this year back at Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano Bar.

Each night at Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano Bar, two to four piano players take your requests and provide entertainment like no other venue near Washington D.C., Virginia, or Maryland. Our talented entertainers can play it all – from Beyoncé to Garth Brooks, James Taylor to Pharrell, Meatloaf to Mozart. Our world-class performers can play more than just the piano. When the full team of four gets on stage, you’ll see everything from drums to fiddles to guitars.

We were hired to come in and help facilitate the live stream like we have in the past. Each show gets better and better with multiple cameras, updated graphics and a solid production team that makes each night a success.

We offer subscription packages for moments like these!
